Royal Caribbean Legend returns to Japan

Legend of the Seas sails into Singapore Royal Caribbean’s Vision Class vessel, Legend of the Seas will return to her Japanese ports-of-call on 1 August 2011. Commencing with Okinawa, she is currently scheduled to complete 11 sailings from July to October including such ports as Fukuoka, Kagoshima, Beppu, Nagasaki and Hokkaido which were not directly affected by the tsunami and subsequent nuclear crisis. “Judging from the current situation in Japan, we are well-assured of the safety of travelling to Japan. Japan has always been an attractive tourist destination and its show of great resilience in the face of the recent crisis has given travelers the confidence to visit the country again,” said Kelvin Tan, regional director Asia Pacific, Royal Caribbean Cruises Ltd. “Travellers also understand that visiting these cities on a cruise ship is a safe and hassle-free option.”
